Mit diesem Projekt sehen wir uns an, wie man Spitze in einen Stoff einsetzt. Dieses Projekt kann jeder mitmachen, der eine Nähmaschine zu Hause hat.
In this project we will see, how to make a lace insert. Every sewer with a normal sewing machine can do this fun and easy Project.
Wir brauchen/we need:
weißen feinen Stoff aus Baumwolle/ a fine white cotton fabric
ein Stück Spitze (siehe Bild) / a piece of lace (you can see it at the picture)
weißes Nähgarn, Verschluß nach Belieben / White thread and your favourite closure
Hier seht ihr das Schnittmuster, die Größe ist Eure Entscheidung. Ihr braucht eine Faltlinie für die Tasche und eine weitere für die Klappe, die orange Linie zeigt Euch, wo ich die Spitze hinhaben will.
This is the pattern of our bag. The size is your decision. You need two folding lines - one for the bag and one for the flap. The orange line at the pattern show you where i will place the lace.
Wir benutzen den Schnitt als Vorlage um die Spitze in die richtige form zu bügeln. Ich habe einen weißen Faden eingezogen und die Spitze ein wenig gekräuselt und dann entlang meiner Linie gesteckt und gebügelt. Wir legen die Spitze vorsichtig zur Seite.
We use our patter to form the lace into the right line. I stitched a row of white thread and gathered the lace a little bit only to form the curved edge.
Then i pinned the lace along my orange line on the pattern and pressed it in form gently. We need the lace later.
Jetzt bereiten wir den Stoff vor. Wir bügeln eine Mittellinie scharf ein und dann messen wir links und rechts davon mit einem Lineal 2,5 cm und ziehen mit einer stumpfen großen Nadel eine Markierung. Entlang dieser Markierungen bügeln wir die Linien wiederum scharf ein im selben Bug wie die Mittellinie.
Now we prepare our fabric. We fold our fabric in half and press this line. Then we measure 1 inch left and right from this fold. We take a ruler and a needle with a round top and mark a line . Along this lines we press in the same direction as the first fold.
Jetzt gehen wir an die Nähmaschine und nähen entlang unserer gebügelten Kanten im Abstand von ca 4 mm eine saubere Naht.
Let us go to the sewing machine and sew along our folded edges 1/8 of an inch. Make a beautiful clean seam.
Wir bügeln die entstandenen Falten auf eine Seite. Dann legen wir unser Schnittmuster auf Stoff und Futterstoff und schneiden die Tasche zu.
We press the little pleats at one side. Then we cut our bag and lining in one step.
Jetzt platzieren wir unsere vorbereitete Spitze auf die rechte Seite des Taschenteils, arbeitet langsam und genau.
Now we place our prepared lace at the top of the bag exactly. Work slow and exact.
Wir nähen die Spitze zuerst mit einem normalen Geradstich an beiden Kanten fest. Nach jedem Schritt sauber bügeln!
First we fix the lace with normal stitch along the edges . After each seam pressing is important!
Dann nähen wir einen 3 mm breiten Zig-Zag Stich wieder entlang der Spitzenkante und zum Schluss
nähen wir einen 4 mm breiten Raupenstich.
Then we sew a 3 mm zig-zag along the edges of the lace and at last a 4 mm satin-stitch.
Jetzt ganz vorsichtig den Stoff hinter der Spitze wegschneiden, langsam und ganz an der Kante des Raupenstiches.
Now we cut the fabric behind the lace carefully and slow near the edge of our satin stitch.
Jetzt legen wir das Futterteil rechts auf rechts unten auf das Taschenteil und nähen die untere Naht, lassen aber eine Öffnung frei, durch die wir später die Tasche wenden.
Now we sew the lining right side to right side on the bottom of our bag. We let an opening for the turning of our bag.
Wir legen die Teile jetzt links auf links und klappen an der Umbruchlinie das Taschenteil hoch und bügeln die Kante.
Now we place the pieces left side of top to left side of lining and fold up the folding line of the bag. Press this line.
In dieser Position ziehen wir den Taschenteil hervor und legen ihn nach oben. Es liegt jetzt Alles rechts auf rechts.
In this position we pull the front part of the bag and lay it on the top. The front sides are laying on the front sides.
Jetzt nähen wir die offenen Kanten fest und schneiden sie sauber, dann greifen wir in die Öffnung und drehen die Tasche um.
Now we sew the open edges and cut them for a clean finish, then we turn the bag throug the opening.
Jetzt bügeln wir unsere Tasche und steppen die Kante ab wobei die Wendeöffnung gleich mit abgesteppt wird.
We press our bag and sew along the edge. The opening will be closed with this seam.
Jetzt fehlt nur noch der Verschluss. Ich habe mich für ein Cam-snap entschieden, man kann aber auch noch ein Knopfloch machen oder was auch immer man bevorzugt. Zuletzt habe ich noch eine Reihe rosa Stiche als einfache Verzierung genäht.

Now we make the closure. I made a cam-snap but you can also make a buttonhole or an other closurte you prefer. At last i stitched a line of pink thread to decorate this nice bag.
