Unser neues Haus hat ein Gästezimmer. Das ist wirklich ein grosser Vorteil.

Ich habe beim Möbelschweden Hand- und Badetücher besorgt und mit hübschen Stickereien aus dem Hause Urban Threads bestickt.

Ein Kissenbezug, bestickt - an embroidered pillow

Gestern ist ein Kissenbezug aus Stoffresten entstanden. Das Stickmotiv stammt von Urban threads.

EINE JACKE FÜR MAMA - A JACKET FOR MY MUM

Der Muttertag kommt. Die beste Gelegenheit um die Nähmaschine anzuwerfen! 
Diesmal ist es eine Jacke geworden, im Stil einer Jeansjacke, aber nicht aus Denim. Ich habe einen leichten Baumwollstoff verwendet und die Jacke mit hübschen Stickereien von Urban threads verschönert. 

Der Schnitt der Jacke stammt aus einem Makerist Kurs mit Mia Führer. Ich habe diesen Kurs mit Freude mitgemacht und bei der kompetenten Schneiderin wieder sehr viel gelernt.

This time it has become a jacket, in the style of a jeans jacket, but not from denim. I used a light cotton fabric and embellished the jacket with nice embroidery from Urban threads.

The pattern of the jacket comes from a Makerist course with Mia Führer. I took this course with pleasure and learned a lot from the competent seamstress again.

Meiner Katze Mia gefällt die Jacke auch!

 

Eine hübsche Dekoration - a nice decoration

Diese Dekoration ist nicht nur zu Ostern hübsch. Die Stickdatei kommt von Urban threads und die Idee ebenfalls! Die Datei aus der diese Kuscheltiere stammen heißt "Wild Whimsy".

This decoration is not just for Easter. The stick file comes from Urban threads and the idea also! The file from which these cuddly animals originate is called "Wild Whimsy".

Neue Polster - new pillows

Der Frühling ist die Jahreszeit der  Erneuerung, auch in meinem Wohnzimmer. Die Motive kommen von Urban threads, der Baumwollstoff war ein Rest.

Spring is the season of renewal, even in my living room. The motifs come from Urban threads, the fabric is cotton whitch i had in my fundus.

Hasendekoration - Bunny decoration

 

Ich habe diese tollen Spitzen - Hasen von Urban threads gleich in mehreren Farben gestickt. Grün- und Orangetöne sind nicht nur meine bevorzugten Farben, sie passen auch perfekt in den Frühling.

Ich bin  ganz begeistert von meiner lustigen Hasenparade !

I have embroidered these very nice lace bunnies of Urban threads in several colors. Green and orange tones are not only my favorite colors, they also fit perfectly into the spring.

I am very happy about my funny rabbits !

Designs: Urban threads

Lasst uns eine tolle Tasche aus zerschnittenen Jeans nähen. Ich habe die alten Jeans in Streifen geschnitten und werde die Tasche in Blockhaus - Technik nähen. Als Zentrum des Blockes habe ich Kunstleder - Stücke mit Motiven von Urban threads bestickt und exakt gleich geschnitten ( ca 17 x 22 cm). Die Denim - Streifen sind 5,5 cm breit.

Wer keine Stickmaschine hat, kann das Zentrum des Blockhauses anders verzieren, Ziernähte machen oder eine kleine Applikation.

Let's sew a great bag of cut jeans. I cutted the old jeans into stripes and will sew the bag in blockhouse technique. As the center of the block I have embroidered  pieces with motifs by Urban threads and cutted in exactly (ca 6,7 x 8,7 inch). The denim stripes are 2,2 inch wide.

If you do not have an embroidery machine, you can decorate the center of the blockhouse differently, make decorative seams or a small application.
